Otaheite Glow (2025)

My daughter Sophia is obsessed with Otaheite apples. If you've never had one, they're one of the most fragrant fruits in the Caribbean — deep red and purple on the outside, with a bright white centre that's almost startling. She'd eat them every day if she could.

I painted this for her, really. The yellow background wasn't planned — it just made sense the moment I tried it. That contrast is exactly what the fruit deserves.
