Tropical Daydream

Acrylic on canvas, 16" x 20"

This one wasn't planned. I had a canvas I was going to paint over and just wanted something vibrant. What came out surprised me — it almost painted itself, which is the best feeling there is.

Some paintings are laboured. This one was pure joy. I think you can feel that in it.
